I love this video of the song “White Man” from the Michael Gungor Band. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen something so childishly carefree and goofy, yet so profound and challenging in its message. What are your thoughts/impressions about it?
(A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Michael Gungor and attend a songwriting workshop he led at a conference near Grand Rapids, Michigan. Gungor’s music is technically excellent, creatively profound, and theologically solid. If you have never heard of him, I’d encourage you to check out some of his music.
